Welcome to the Drexel Community Agricultural Fair

The Drexel Community Fair is one of only two North Carolina Agriculture Fairs with Free admission and the only one with all aspects of an agricultural fair.

The fair has won many awards at the North Carolina Agriculture Fair Association conference throughout the years. They have included awards for growth, cleanliness, and safety.

The Fair has also won many awards for the ‘Goodness Grows” / “Got To Be NC Agriculture” booth displays that are arranged by members each year, promoting North Carolina Agriculture.

PLEASE NOTE: NO FOOD OR DRINK MAY BE BROUGHT INTO THE FAIRGROUNDS - WE HAVE A WIDE RANGE OF CHOICES INSIDE, FROM COTTON CANDY AND PEANUTS TO ANGUS BEEF HAMBURGERS!

TICKETS

As always... Entrance to the Fair is FREE!

Ticket Information

  • $15.00 armbands will be sold nightly for unlimited riding.
  • Family Pack of 24 tickets for $20.00 
  • Single tickets can be purchased for $1.00 each

Admission
Admission to the Spring Carnival and Fall Fair is free.

Lost and Found Items
All lost and found items can be found at the registration booth located at the main entrance to the fair grounds.

Medical Emergencies
Report all medical emergencies to the Registration Booth located at the main entrance to the fair.

Security
Security is provided by deputies of the Burke County Sheriff’s Department and the Drexel Police Department. 
Traffic assistance is provided by Triple Community Fire Department.

Other Information

No alcoholic beverages, drugs, or firearms are allowed on the fairgrounds.
No pets are allowed on the fairgrounds.  Only trained dogs assisting the handicapped are allowed on the fairgrounds.

B & K Carnival provide the rides and attractions for the Drexel Fair and Spring Carnival.

LOWDOWN SOUTH

They are a local SouthernRock and Country Band Who love to play music and are a fan favorite.

Members: Terry Hass lead guitar, Randall Paul drums, Eric Andrews bass guitar, Tony Heart lead vocals, Mark Huber keyboards

Swamp Water
Tuesday Aug 13, 6:30pm-9:30pm

Swamp Water is a three piece band out of Caldwell County with may years of music under its belt. Lots of Folk Music, some Bluegrass, Country, Blues, and Southern Rock, all laced with fun and laughter. There is something for everyone. The members are: Mitchell Clark, guitar and vocals. Masten Cloer, bass guitar and vocals. Justin Clyde Williams, 5 time Afghanistan veteran, is the group's guitar gunslinger. 

 

Swamp Water

Final Approach
Wednesday Aug 14th, 6:30pm-10:30pm

The Final Approach band players are Steve Brown, Alan Abernathy, Hugh Sipe, and Gary Smith.

You will enjoy a mix of Country Songs from the 80's and 90's as well as a mix of 60's and 70's rock.

Cadence
Thursday Aug 15th, 7:00pm -10:30

Cadence originated from Cleveland and Catawba County, and began playing together in 2002. Since then, they have played the East Coast from Virginia to Charleston. Their music style ranges from John Cougar Mellencamp, Bob Seger, Crosby Stills and Nash, to REO Speedwagon, and popular dance music. Several members of the band hold music degrees from area universities, and teach music as their profession. However, they all agree that nothing matches the fun of performing on stage for a crowd of music lovers!

Friday Aug 16th, 7:00pm-11:00pm

The ROADRUNNERZ Bandis a Western NC based band that plays a variety of music all over theSoutheast! They are a Drexel Community Fair favorite. Come check out a show andyou'll be a fan!

RoadRunnerz

Deacon Black
Saturday Aug 17th 7:00pm-11:pm

Deacon Black is a variety cover band whose members have beenin the area since 1999. They play a mix of country, classic rock, Top 40, dance,and Metal. The Band Members are: Gary Prichard, lead vocals, Brandon Scott  Church, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, and vocals. Tyler Haas, rhythm guitar, leadguitar, and vocals, Dana Haas, drums, acoustic guitar, and vocals, and Tommy  Shimpock, bass guitar. They bring a new level of excitement to the stage thatyou will enjoy.
